Sticky Grapes (Sticky Toffee x GCCM) and Downshift (Southbound x HSB) are back in the Black Label Flower rotation this Saturday, May 7.
These 21st Century Hashplants represent two very different sides of the terpene spectrum. Downshift is a classic GDL original, featuring intense, lingering notes of toasted hazelnut and a quintessential heavy gas base. Sticky Grapes is sweet but complex, with hashy grape notes that ring like a bell and exotic cream and incense terps in the background.
Each cultivar’s pronounced flavors begin in the garden, where each plant is grown to maximize terpene and cannabinoid content. But the palate truly develops during our lengthy, meticulous curing process. Over weeks, the harvested flowers mature, transforming at the molecular level. As the weed dries in our tightly controlled curing rooms where humidity and temperature are carefully controlled, the sugars and starches present in the living plant are converted, potency increases, and a rich, robust terpene profile emerges. The result is a deeply flavorful, ultra-smooth smoke that is decadently delicious.
Downshift and Sticky Grapes Black Label Flower will be available in limited quantities on Saturday, May 7, at the locations listed below. To find more of your favorite strains in more finishes—like Downshift Blue Label Live Rosin Cartridges—check out our Drop List.
